I recently picked up the terrific book, "Rousseau's Dog" from the library. Written by David Edmonds and John Eidinow, the book follows the rise and fall of the friendship between philosophers Jean-Jacques Rousseau and David Hume. Sultan was Rousseau's beloved dog who became his only friend as his paranoia and hermitage pushed his friends away.

Now, you may already be familiar with Kate Beaton's fabulous, history/literary comic strip "Hark! A Vagrant," but in case you're not, go ahead and get acquainted. Consider my strip "Hark! A Thief" an homage and shameless attempt to emulate her excellent work.

Now that's unfair Mike. I mean worst comic ever? Aren't we forgetting "eye-pod"?
